A R&G and Ina collaboration

This collection of documentaries, produced by R&G Productions (Jérôme Revon and Stéphane Gateau) relates the destinies of personalities who have left their mark on our lives.

For 26 minutes, with the collaboration of INA, “We loved each other so much” enables us to relive, via a chronological storyline, the first appearances, triumphs and setbacks of celebrities who are no longer with us today. Intense moments of life reconstituted thanks to archive footage, previously unscreened images, eye-witness accounts, excerpts from interviews, songs and programme clips...
Flashbacks to childhood, early hopes, the learning process, initial successes, the times of questioning, the periods of depression in some cases, the time of triumphs, all the reasons why we probably came to love each other so much. And then... time stands still, and it is time to remember.

The collection has related the lives of many major figures, ranging from Jacques Brel to Bourvil, and including personalities such as Françoise Giroud, Eric Tabarly, Simone Signoret and Bernard Loiseau.

The airing on France 3 of 76 documentaries of 26 minutes in daytime slots, and 2 programmes of 90-minutes in prime time, has enabled us to rediscover the men and women we came to love so much…
