"Between 1996 and 2011, Gabrielle Crawford filmed her friend Jane Birkin.

Camera in hand, the friend of the singer and actress traverses the backstage of her life, collecting her words during interviews. These are raw, unedited footage where Jane Birkin shares the stage with her musicians, as well as her microphone with renowned artists: Françoise Hardy, Beth Gibbons, Etienne Daho, Miossec, Manu Chao… During concert rehearsals, she reinterprets the legendary songs written by Serge Gainsbourg: Elisa, La chanson de Prévert, Amours des feintes… and others more contemporary that are notably found in the album ‘Arabesque’.
