Pandemics through History

In 1918, Spanish flu infected people around the world causing more than 40 million deaths. It was the first pandemic of the twentieth century. In the late 1970s, HIV first appeared, causing the death of millions of people. Since then, other viruses such as Ebola and H1N1 have caused deadly epidemics.
